Welcome to my site, to my world—where literacy takes center stage.  As a former English teacher, and in my current position as book editor at The Washington Missourian, I’m immersed in books. I’ve come to believe that a great book is a great book no matter what age it’s intended for.  My familiarity and love of children’s literature has made me appreciate a beautiful picture book as much as an engrossing, adult novel.
